Last year this shop put through 5,070 cuts and took $58,000 in tips across the floor. This chair is commission, not booth rent — tiered and paid weekly, up to 72% as your book grows — so you are not paying for the privilege of a slow week, and the tips are yours.
The evening chair is the one we most want filled. From 13 October the shop is open until 7pm Tuesday to Friday. On weekdays the late-afternoon hours are already among the busiest on the calendar, and the evenings are new hours we are opening for the clients who work normal hours. That is the chair we most want filled.

Every one of these was cut in this shop. Fades, scissor work, beards, kids, grey hair — the range is the job.
What we are looking for
A licence
A current Arizona barber licence. This is not negotiable and we will ask to see it.
Your own tools
Clippers, trimmers, shears. We supply the chair, the station, the towels and the product.
Fades and razor work
Skin fades and a steady hand with a straight razor. Colour experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
Showing up
A walk-in shop lives or dies on whether the chair is staffed when someone walks in. That is most of the job.

Commission, up to 72%. It is tiered on your weekly service sales and paid weekly, so the rate climbs as your book grows. What do I bring, and what do you provide?
You bring clippers, trimmers and shears. We provide the chair, the station, the mirror, towels and product. A current Arizona barber licence is required and we will ask to see it.
Do I need to do colour?
No. Jay is the only barber here who does colour and that is fine — it is a bonus, not a requirement. What we do need is skin fades and a steady hand with a straight razor, because that is most of what comes through the door.
